Jerry Pallotta is an excellent fiction and nonfiction author. The nonfiction books take on a variety of formats including ABC order and the very popular "Who Would Win" series. Below are pictures of some of his books, the anchor chart we created after studying him and our featured "Authors as Heroes" figurine.
Below is just one sample of a Who Could Win book that two first grade boys wrote. I could hardly get them to stop writing when they could choose to make their own "Who Could Win" book!
