Each year as a class we write a letter to the Library Mouse. A couple of days later our librarian appears with a mysterious letter back. The 'library mouse' always informs us in his letter that he is too afraid to actually meet us in person, but that if we want to write books and share with him he'd be thrilled. It is a great way to kick off your writing workshop. The 'librarian mouse' also leaves us little blank made up books and pencils.
