After reading all of the Tedd Arnold books I realized students had a lot of fun adding onomatopoeia to their writing.
They also loved reading the Parts books and learning all about idioms. We made a class book of our own of idioms and below are some pictures.
The favorite ending to our Tedd Arnold author study was finding out that he had a new series released in which Fly Guy teaches us nonfiction! We thought that was a really cool idea and can't wait for his next book.
